Refrigeration Engineer

REFRIGERATION/SALES ENGINEER - BMC

FUNCTION:  Perform engineering and Sales functions for all compressor related business

RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: 

  1. Maintain customer goodwill.
  2. Select compressor(s) based on customer requirements.
  3. Provide technical support to external and internal customers.
  4. Provide assistance to Director of Sales
  5. Trouble shooting and on site customer visits.
  6. Create excel spreadsheets and power point presentations.
  7. Research and develop new customers
  8. Effectively interface with other departments.
  9. Follow-up with advertising leads.
  10. Assist with expediting deliveries and satisfying special customer requests.
  11. Promote a team atmosphere, be self-motivated, provide timely and accurate work and take pride in workmanship by assisting with the overall productivity and improvements of the facility.
  12. Ensure that work areas are clean and safe by the performance of general housekeeping activities.
  13. Performs other functionally related duties as assigned. 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:  This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  4-year business degree or equivalent experience; experience with refrigeration related products.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Work environment conditions require the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses or side shields and hearing protectors.
